Job summary

O.H.S.O. Brewery & Distillery in Gilbert, AZ is seeking dependable Line Cooks to join a fast-paced BOH team. You will prep and cook menu items to our recipes and standards, rotating through sauté, grill, fry, pantry, or prep stations as needed.

You will work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to keep service organized and moving, while maintaining clean, safe stations and a positive attitude throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and communication.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to stand for six to nine hours and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock assigned stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, sauces, and proteins.
• Cook menu items according to recipes, presentation standards, and guest requests.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure food is prepared accurately and delivered on time.
• Follow instructions from the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and kitchen leadership.
• Maintain proper food quality, portioning, and presentation.
• Keep stations clean, organized, and ready for service.
• Label, store, rotate, and care for leftover food; restock inventory as needed.
• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen cleaning duties.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and guests.
• Step in wherever needed to support the kitchen team.
