Job summary

OHSO BREWERY AND DISTILLERY in Gilbert, AZ is seeking dependable Line Cooks to join a fast-paced BOH team. You will prepare menu items, follow recipes, and work with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to keep service organized and moving.

Responsibilities include station setup, cooking, plating, and maintaining food safety. This on-site role offers full-time hours, medical/dental/vision, and employee perks.

Qualifications

• Experience as line cook or kitchen staff preferred.
• Efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Dependable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Ability to follow recipes and safety procedures.
• Ability to stand for six to nine hours.
• Ability to lift, bend, reach and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to support the kitchen as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock assigned stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service, chop vegetables, portion ingredients, and sauces.
• Cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Work with the kitchen team to ensure timely, accurate prep and plating.
• Follow instructions from chefs and leadership.
• Maintain food quality, portioning, and presentation.
• Keep stations clean, organized, and ready for service.
• Label, store, rotate, and care for leftovers.
• Restock inventory and supplies as needed.
• Adhere to food-safety and workplace-safety procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing and general kitchen duties.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude with coworkers and guests.
• Step in wherever needed to support the kitchen team.
