Job summary

OHSO BREWERY AND DISTILLERY in Phoenix, AZ is seeking dependable Line Cooks to join a fast-paced BOH team and help prepare menu items to our recipes, quality standards, and timing expectations. You may work at sauté, grill, fry, pantry, or prep stations, collaborating with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to keep service organized and moving.

Qualifications

• Experience as a line cook or in a kitchen is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and communication.
• Must be dependable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock assigned stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, sauces, and proteins
• Cook menu items according to recipes, presentation standards, and guest requests
• Work with the kitchen team to ensure timely, accurate food delivery
• Follow instructions from Executive/Sous Chefs and leadership
• Maintain proper food quality, portioning, and presentation
• Keep stations clean, organized, and ready for service
• Label, store, rotate, and care for leftovers
• Restock inventory and supplies as needed
• Follow all food-safety and workplace-safety procedures
• Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen cleaning
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude with coworkers and guests
• Step in wherever needed to support the kitchen team
