Job summary

Pickle Factory in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced and dependable Line Cook to join its culinary team in a fast-paced kitchen.

You will prepare and cook menu items to recipes and standards, maintain a clean station, and work with the Chef and staff to deliver quality dishes during busy service, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay is $18–$24 per hour based on experience, with a Wednesday-Sunday schedule and time off Monday and Tuesday.

Qualifications

Experience as a line cook in a professional kitchen.
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Punctual, dependable, and able to work the stated schedule.
Physical stamina to stand long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation expectations.
Set up and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
Ensure food is prepared accurately and efficiently during service.
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, labeling, and storage procedures.
Communicate effectively with the Chef and kitchen leadership.
Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and closing responsibilities.
Maintain consistency in portioning, taste, presentation, and ticket times.
Support other kitchen stations as needed.
