Job summary

Just Smokin' Barbecue in Wisconsin is seeking a dependable Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen. You’ll work the line, prepare food, complete prep, stock and clean your station, assist with deliveries, and help wherever needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

We offer $15–$20+ per hour depending on experience, plus tip share, flexible full-time and part-time scheduling, a 15-hour-per-week minimum, 401(k) matching, health reimbursement, paid time off, and opportunities for

Qualifications

• No BBQ experience required; willing to learn and grow.
• Able to stand for a full shift and regularly lift 20–50 pounds.
• Evening and weekend availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble menu items accurately and efficiently.
• Work the line during lunch and dinner service.
• Operate fryers, grills, ovens, steam tables, slicers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Portion, cut, chop, shred, and package cooked meats.
• Prepare sides, sauces, and other menu items.
• Complete opening, closing, dishes, and general cleaning duties.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with catering and food truck events when needed.
