Job summary

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Line Cook to join our Back of House team. You will play a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality plates in a fast-paced setting.

You’ll work with a friendly team, prioritize food safety, and contribute to a culture of hospitality and guest satisfaction. Training and development are emphasized as the restaurant grows and opens new stores.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more a day.
• Must be at least 18 years old for BOH positions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station throughout service.
• Read and execute tickets accurately while meeting timing standards.
• Plate dishes with consistency and attention to presentation.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow all food safety standards.
• Label, store, and rotate all food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support teammates and communicate effectively during service.
• Complete closing and cleaning checklists as assigned.
