Job summary

Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar in Charleston, SC is seeking line cooks to bring focus, speed, and consistency to a high-performing kitchen. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and team to deliver plated dishes that meet exacting standards.

Expect nights, weekends, and some holidays with up to long shifts. Candidates should be reliable, hardworking, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. ServSafe is a plus and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Strong knife skills and confidence using kitchen tools.
• Calm under pressure—rushes are part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Execute dishes quickly and consistently to restaurant standards.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Set up and break down your station each shift.
• Store and label food properly.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen that meets health standards.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO to reduce waste.
• Follow recipes and measure ingredients accurately.
• Stay focused and move with urgency during service.
• Jump in and support other stations when needed.
