Job summary

Puttshack Louisville is seeking an energetic Line Cook to prepare, produce, plate, and garnish menu items. You will work under the Executive Chef to meet exacting standards and maintain station setup and sanitation.

Our venues operate 11am–1am and scheduling is flexible with 15–30 hours weekly; this role offers competitive pay and benefits including health coverage, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, and exclusive associate discounts on mini golf and meals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age to apply.
• Prior experience in high volume restaurant kitchen.
• Experience operating, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen tools and appliances such as knives, grills, etc.
• Must obtain any licenses or certifications per state and/or local requirements.
• Ability to communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements safely and effectively
• Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment

Responsibilities

• Bring your 'A' Game each and every day.
• Ensure overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests needs.
• Follow all prescribed portioning controls and par levels.
• Prepare, assemble, and plate menu items according to prescribed recipes and/or special requests.
• Communicate food delays or issues to Culinary Leadership.
• Read a thermometer and food tickets correctly and efficiently.
• Accurately account for all items coming out of a station.
• Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions.
• Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures, including MSDS.
• Take direction and be a team player.
• Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Associate Handbook.
• Other projects or duties as assigned, including but not limited to side-work, opening, and closing duties.
