Job summary

Tatte Bakery & Café in Boston is seeking a Line Cook to join our savory team. You will prepare dishes according to our recipes, maintain quality and food safety, and work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef.

You should have experience in fast-paced kitchens, be able to lift 50+ lbs, stand 8+ hours, and enjoy collaborating with a team. We offer competitive pay, full benefits, and flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Execute techniques under the direction of the Sous Chef and Executive Chef.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, weighing, and mixing.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.
• Set up and break down workstations for upcoming shifts.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen surfaces, tables, tools, and equipment.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Assist chefs in preparing food and supporting additional culinary tasks as needed.
