Job summary

Triple Shift Entertainment LLC seeks a reliable Cook for our back-of-house team. You will follow recipes, prepare garnishes, and coordinate with wait staff to deliver tasty, presentable meals.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe work area, operating kitchen equipment, and staying flexible for nights, weekends and holidays. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years’ experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years’ experience or training in-house at a similar restaurant or concept will show Excellence
• Courage to demonstrate knowledge of and certification within health, safety, and sanitation laws within 180 days
• Adherence to Knife Handling Policy to show Respect
• Proven experience in a customer service role is an advantage.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions using Spirit

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers.
• Show Excellence by presenting, garnishing and arranging final dishes.
• Occasionally serve food.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes.
• Handle and store ingredients and food
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
• Execute opening and closing procedures.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients.
• Monitor station inventory levels
• Use Spirit to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Understand of proper use and maintenance of major kitchen equipment
• Own It by solving problems and organizing
• Stand and exert fast paced mobility for entire shift.
• Transport up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Show Respect to team with your ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Climb, stretch and reach as needed for cleaning purposes.
