Job summary

The Buona Companies is hiring a Cook to prepare high-quality menu items following our recipes and sanitation standards. You will work quickly on a busy line, ensuring portions are correct and orders are fulfilled with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities include learning multiple positions (Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep), maintaining clean stations, restocking, and complying with health and safety guidelines. Experience with fast-paced service a plus; benefits available.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and positive attitude.
• Must be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain Food Handler certificate.
• Must work to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn the following positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep.
• Follow recipes and food preparation processes (cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping, dicing, cutting, slicing).
• Maintain portion control and monitor food levels on the line.
• Prepare quality food that meets Buona standards.
• Ensure all food is made properly before serving to guests.
• Restock food line.
• Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Be speedy and accurate in fulfilling orders.
• Handle raw and finished waste according to procedures.
• Act with urgency with all guests (dine-in, takeout, drive-thru).
• Wash cookware and utensils; clean equipment as assigned.
• Clean and sanitize as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
