Miskiri Hospitality Group is seeking dependable Line Cooks to join a fast-paced kitchen team in Laurel, MD. You will prepare items, stock stations, and maintain sanitary workspaces to ensure consistent quality for every guest.

Ideal candidates bring experience in busy kitchens, follow recipes precisely, and communicate well with chefs and teammates. Flexible scheduling and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook, prep cook, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow recipes and standardized procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Culinary training is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, presentation standards, and quality expectations.
• Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
• Properly label, date, rotate, and store food products.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion consistency.
• Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow kitchen team members during service.
• Assist with prep work, receiving deliveries, and inventory as needed.
• Clean kitchen equipment and complete opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Work efficiently during high volume meal periods while maintaining attention to detail.
