Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a talented Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate food preparation, and ensure every dish meets our high standards. The role requires food safety knowledge, strong time management, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Food safety knowledge and sanitation adherence.
• Time management in fast-paced kitchen.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality and presentation.
• Teamwork and clear communication with staff.
• Evening, weekend and holiday availability.
• Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha.
• Culinary education or certifications are a plus.
• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: prepare and cook items according to recipes and standards.
• Line Station Setup: stock assigned station with supplies before each shift.
• Cooking Techniques: grill, sauté, fry, broil, and bake as needed.
• Menu Knowledge: maintain understanding of ingredients, portions, and presentation.
• Food Safety and Sanitation: follow proper handling, storage and hygiene procedures.
• Quality Control: inspect items for quality and freshness and address issues promptly.
• Inventory Management: monitor inventory levels and report shortages.
• Cleanliness and Organization: keep work area and equipment clean and organized.
