Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related cooking experience; high volume/fast casual preferred.
• Must be able to read, speak, and comprehend instructions and policy documents.
• Food handler's card may be required per local/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Exceed first-class service standards with guests, partners and peers.
• Follow recipes and directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving food items.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety laws and regulations.
• Sample products, estimate food requirements, and plan production accordingly.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work environment; monitor temperatures and dating of items.
• Assist with ordering and planning food supplies; restock kitchen as needed.
• Train new cooks and staff; provide assistance as needed.
• Report equipment repair needs to management; manage safety hazards.
