Job summary

Heathrow Legacy Country Club in Florida is seeking a Line Cook to prepare a variety of seafood, meats, poultry, vegetables, sauces and stocks according to standardized recipes and prep lists. You will work with broilers, ovens, grills and other kitchen equipment, maintain station setup, follow safety regulations, and coordinate with the Sous Chef to ensure timely service.

Requires two years of kitchen experience and a food safety certification.

Qualifications

• Two years of kitchen prep and cooking experience.
• Must hold food safety certification.
• Knowledge of food handling and preparation principles and procedures.
• Ability to follow all health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular attendance per club standards.
• Prepare items according to standard recipes and prep list.
• Coordinate and time orders with kitchen operations.
• Requisition items needed to produce menu items.
• Ensure work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary.
• Close the kitchen using the closing checklist.
• Attend kitchen staff meetings and contribute improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
