Job summary

Covenant Living of Bixby is seeking a Line Cook to accurately and efficiently prepare a variety of hot and cold foods for residents in a senior living environment. You will follow standardized recipes and maintain high sanitation standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities include reading orders, cooking to specifications, and serving meals with attention to appearance and garnish. A high school diploma and Food Handler’s Permit are required; Servsafe training is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and a current Food Handler’s Permit.
• Servsafe training and state sanitation certificate are beneficial.
• 3–4 years of related and advanced food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner per recipes.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in accordance with regulations.
• Operate kitchen equipment and manage inventory and prep sheets.
• Follow menus, temperatures, and portion controls for residents’ meals.
