Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Line Cook position in a similar environment.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• English fluency; additional languages preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality.
• Responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations, including preparation, cooking, and portioning of food.
• Maintain and properly use all kitchen equipment including fryers, blenders, food processors, mixers and rotisserie.
• Ensure prep duties are excellently prepped, seasoned and cooked to the standards taught by Daily Provisions culinary leaders by the designated time.
• Follow standard operating procedures of all recipes, techniques, and builds sheets of assigned dishes.
• Responsible for correct product storage of all mise en place, including labeling and dating procedures.
• Maintain properly sharpened knives and tools and show good knife skills.
• Keep a clear dish station including chemicals, janitorial supplies, and health department standards.
• Support the team (Hospitality and Kitchen) whenever needed (e.g., call-outs, catering).
• Know and apply Department of Health standards to keep kitchen spaces tidy.
