Daily Provisions at Manhattan West is seeking a Line Cook to join our all-day kitchen. You will prep, cook, and portion dishes, and contribute to the care of beloved items like our crullers and breakfast sandwiches while upholding high standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Line Cook role in a similar restaurant.
• NYC Food Handlers License is required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• English fluency; additional languages are a plus.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality.
• Handle all aspects of kitchen prep, cooking and portioning.
• Use kitchen equipment safely and maintain tools.
• Ensure recipes and builds sheets are followed.
• Store mise en place with proper labeling and dating.
• Maintain knife skills and sharpening.
• Keep dish station clean and comply with health standards.
• Support team during call-outs or catering.
• Follow Dept of Health standards as a guide.
