Job summary

Five Iron Golf in Chicago seeks a Line Cook/The Dishwasher to support the kitchen team with prep, cooking, and dish care. You’ll help open/close, prep appetizers and entrees, and ensure guests receive flavorful, consistent dishes.

The role is part-time with nights and weekends required. Candidates should have at least 1 year in a kitchen, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and hold health and safety certifications. Pay is $19–$21 per hour, with Equal Opportunity employment.

Responsibilities

• Open/close kitchen when needed.
• Prepare appetizers/entrees and keep kitchen stocked.
• Wash, sanitize pans, utensils and dishes.
• Maintain dish machine cleanliness.
• Load/unload dishes and organize items.
• Keep area clean and mop/sweep as needed.
• Assist with cleaning food prep stations and equipment.
• Direct food prep in coordination with front-of-house staff.
• Deliver high level of customer service to each guest.
