Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, daily menus, and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain and rotate all food items to ensure quality; date and label items and practice FIFO.
• Clean and inspect kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas for cleanliness and operation.
• Operate food stations, complete station checklists, temperature logs, and signage.
• Requisition food supplies and equipment based on estimates of future needs.
• Monitor menus and costs to ensure economical meal preparation.
• Be knowledgeable of all stations and plate presentations.
• Report safety issues to management as they arise.
