Job summary

OTO Development is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for the restaurant, banquets, and special events on property. You will maintain high quality, support food presentation, and ensure clean, safe prep areas while following all safety regulations.

The position requires English communication, the ability to work under pressure, and a team-focused, positive work environment. On-site work with occasional cross-training may be involved.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English orally and in writing
• Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations and health/safety regulations
• Ability to foster a positive working environment and work well under pressure

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for restaurant, banquets, and functions at high quality
• Present and format all food items and accommodate guest requests
• Rotate stock in walk-ins and freezers to minimize waste
• Maintain cleanliness of all food prep areas
• Assist with ordering necessary food supplies
• Set up hot and cold line stations and follow safety rules
• Communicate guest requests to supervisor in a timely manner
• Report hazardous conditions promptly
• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with equipment handling
