Job summary

OTO Development is seeking a Cook to prepare food for the restaurant, banquets and special functions on property, ensuring high quality and timely service. You will rotate, present, and adjust items to guest requests while maintaining clean, safe prep areas and following all health and safety rules.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly in English, works well under pressure, and helps create a positive team environment. Flexible with cross-training and supporting various outlets as needed.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations including food/beverage, banquet service, and health and safety regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to create a positive working environment and perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for the restaurant, banquets and events to high quality standards.
• Present and rotate items; accommodate guest requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of prep areas and handle safety protocols.
• Assist with ordering and stocking supplies.
• Set up hot and cold line stations; follow specifications.
• Communicate guest requests to supervisors promptly.
• Report hazards and maintain safety at all times.
• Cross-train and perform other tasks as directed.
