Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Job Summary

Hiring cooks interested in working in a fun, team environment. We are open during the summer months 7 days/week with full-time hours available for morning or evening shifts.

This is a great opportunity to learn alongside an Executive Chef focused on your career development. Prepare food in accordance with club recipes and standards. Act as a first point of contact for other line cooks, providing guidance and clarification. Assist the Sous Chef in assigning cleaning and prep projects to cooks and stewards. Hold cooks and stewards to a high and professional standard in their behavior and attitude.

Job Tasks
  1. Prepare all required items and set up service units with needed items.
  2. Prepare items ordered according to established portions and presentation standards.
  3. Perform prep and execution of all dishes on all stations, demonstrating knowledge of prep, execution, and plating specifications.
  4. Notify the Chef of expected shortages.
  5. Ensure work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary, maintaining high standards of hygiene.
  6. Assist in maintaining kitchen security and safety.
  7. Maintain a neat professional appearance and observe personal cleanliness rules.
  8. Set up, maintain, and break down prep/cook stations.
  9. Requisition items needed for menu production.
  10. Adhere to health and safety regulations.
  11. Store leftovers properly, maintaining high sanitary standards.
  12. Coordinate and time orders with other kitchen operations.
  13. Ensure dishes reach the window timely with quality.
  14. Make recommendations for maintenance and upkeep of kitchen equipment.
  15. Attend staff meetings and assist with other duties as assigned by the Chef.
Additional Details

This position reports to the Sous Chef and Executive Chef. It does not involve supervisory roles.
