Daily Provisions is seeking a Back of House Team Member in a Brooklyn kitchen to support all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and plating with a focus on high-quality, consistent results.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Line Cook position in a similar environment.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality through consistent kitchen execution.
• Prepare, cook, and portion food to Daily Provisions standards.
• Maintain and use all kitchen equipment properly.
• Ensure prep duties are prepared, seasoned, and cooked to standard by deadlines.
• Follow recipes, techniques, and build sheets as taught by leaders.
• Store mise en place with proper labeling and dating.
• Keep knives and tools sharp and maintain a clean work area.
• Assist with dish station maintenance, cleanliness, and health standards.
• Support team needs (hospitality and kitchen) as needed.
• Adhere to Department of Health standards and uphold kitchen organization.
