Daily Provisions is seeking a Back of House Team Member in Washington, DC to join our lively cafe team. You will perform prep, cooking, and portioning, and ensure proper storage and equipment maintenance to support the restaurant’s standards of Enlightened Hospitality.

We require 2+ years of Line Cook experience, the ability to stand for long periods, and fluent English. The role offers $18.50/hour, health coverage, paid time off, a 51% dining discount, and other benefits through Union Square

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Line Cook position in a similar environment.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality.
• Prepare, cook, and portion foods.
• Maintain and use kitchen equipment properly.
• Ensure prep duties are well-prepped, seasoned, and cooked to standards.
• Follow recipes, techniques, and build sheets as taught by leaders.
• Store mise en place with proper labeling and dating.
