Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club in Surfside, FL is seeking a dedicated line cook to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You will work across grill, saute, and cold stations, ensuring items meet quality standards and recipes while maintaining a sanitary kitchen.

Responsibilities include mise en place, recipe scaling, and operating a variety of kitchen equipment. Candidates should have culinary education or equivalent experience and at least three years of culinary work.

Qualifications

• High school education, cooking school, culinary institute education or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three-years culinary experience. Intermediate culinary knowledge is expected for this position.
• Ability to operate, maintain and properly clean deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, flat top grill.

Responsibilities

• Work all stations on the line (grill, sauté, cold line). Prepare food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards; complete mis en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service.
• Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not prepare beyond estimated needs. Scales recipes to the gram.
• Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill.
