Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club in Surfside, FL is seeking a Cook 1 to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner per guest orders, upholding quality and safety standards in a luxury setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school education or culinary training and at least five years of culinary experience with advanced knowledge; on-the-job training is common. Full-time schedule includes early mornings, days, evenings, weekends.

Qualifications

• High school education, cooking school, culinary institute education or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years culinary experience.
• Advanced culinary knowledge is required for this position.
• Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner items per guest orders to quality standards.
• Start items prepared ahead of time without exceeding estimated needs.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment (fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, etc.).
• Rotate perishables, check pars, and manage storage and waste per policy.
• Follow Four Seasons' Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
