Job summary

The Founders Inn and Spa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is seeking a dependable AM Line Cook to join our Food & Beverage team. You’ll prepare fresh, high-quality dishes and help maintain Hilton standards for quality, cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of culinary or related food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of hot and cold food items, including appetizers, salads, sauces, side dishes, and garnishes.
• Wash, peel, chop, dice, slice, portion, and prepare vegetables, fruits, meats, cheeses, seafood, pastas, and other ingredients.
• Prepare menu items according to standardized recipes and established portion standards.
• Taste and inspect prepared foods to ensure proper flavor, texture, consistency, presentation, and quality.
• Assist with daily prep to ensure the kitchen is ready for current and upcoming shifts.
• Properly operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including fryers, broilers, stoves, ovens, steamers, mixers, slicers, grills, and food processors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, and uniform standards.
• Properly care for knives, utensils, tools, and kitchen equipment and report damaged equipment to management.
• Work collaboratively with chefs, cooks, and other Food & Beverage team members.
• Assist with additional culinary duties as needed to support hotel operations.
