Sweetwaters, a modern seafood-forward waterfront restaurant, is opening in Fort Lauderdale. We are building a founding culinary team to set the culture, standards, and guest experience from day one. The Line Cook will work with the kitchen team to prepare meals to recipe specifications and uphold high hospitality standards.

Pay rate is $20-22 per hour. Responsibilities include food prep, station setup, sanitation compliance, and collaboration for efficient service.

Qualifications

• 2 years previous experience as a line cook.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Positive attitude, team player, and able to work collaboratively with others.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with Health Department standards.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
