Sweetwaters, a modern seafood-forward waterfront restaurant opening in Fort Lauderdale, seeks a Prep Cook to join the opening team. You will work with our culinary team to prepare ingredients, follow recipes, and maintain sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Previous prep cook experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, cut, chop, slice and prepare cooking elements.
• Store items properly and prep ahead for quick access.
• Prepare portions of dishes and maintain station readiness.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area.
• Complete assigned prep for stocking and station setup; break down and clean daily.
• Ensure proper rotation, labeling, and par levels; obtain signatures as needed.
