Job Description: Line Cook at Dave & Buster's

Position Overview:

The line cook is responsible for creating an exceptional culinary experience for our guests through the preparation and presentation of our menu items. Ensuring the correct handling and safety of all food products is also a key responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver an outstanding guest experience with quality food, drinks, and games in a fun environment.
  • Keep supervisors informed of any issues and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
  • Use chemicals properly for safety and cost control.
  • Store all products properly and at appropriate levels.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards.
  • Manage costs by following prep sheets to ensure freshness and reduce waste.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas.
  • Assist with station maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Support team members as needed and promote a cooperative work environment.
  • Work friendly and maintain a professional appearance, with flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with team members.
  • Disciplined, self-motivated, and friendly demeanor.
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Demands:

Team members must be able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment, move around the facility, stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform frequent reaching, bending, and wiping tasks. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Salary Range:
