Job Details

Boka Restaurant Group is excited to announce that Alla Vita, a casual Italian restaurant in partnership with executive chef Lee Wolen, is seeking experienced and talented Line Cooks! This restaurant, designed by Kehoe Designs, is located at the corner of Randolph and Jefferson in Chicago's historic Fulton Market District.

This is an ideal position for someone dedicated to hospitality and seeking to join a hardworking team. Qualified candidates MUST possess:

• At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced, chef-driven restaurant
• A focus on hospitality

Qualified Line Cooks must be energetic, enthusiastic, and have a positive attitude.

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Knowing and consistently complying with restaurant standards for portion sizes, cooking methods, quality, and policies.
• Handling guests’ allergies with utmost seriousness and following the Allergy Protocol.
• Adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines, including handwashing.

Physical requirements:

• Ability to lift 10-20 lbs if necessary.
• Safe and effective use of all necessary tools and equipment.
• Standing and walking for an entire shift, moving safely through all restaurant areas.
