Job summary

Culinary Dropout is part of Fox Restaurant Concepts, hiring immediately for a Line Cook at The Bowl at Ballantyne in Charlotte. The role requires 1+ year of high-volume restaurant experience, strong communication, and the ability to stand long hours and lift up to 25 pounds.

You will cook items from scratch, follow recipes for consistency, and work across broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers in a busy kitchen with strict sanitation standards. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience.
• Excellent communication skills, stand for long periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Eye for detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare food from scratch following recipes for consistent results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food from scratch by following our recipes to produce consistent results.
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards. Work clean.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment.
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
