Job summary

Culinary Dropout is hiring a Line Cook to join our high-energy kitchen. Must have 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience, strong communication, stamina to stand and lift up to 25 pounds, and an eye for detail.

Prepare food from scratch following recipes to produce consistent results; cook a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers. Availability on weekends/holidays; growth opportunities within Fox Restaurant Concepts.

Qualifications

• 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food from scratch by following recipes to ensure consistency.
• Cook diverse items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other equipment.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards and work clean.
• Maintain calm performance in high-volume shifts and weekends/holidays.

What you’ll do:

• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards. Work clean.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
