Job summary

Culinary Dropout, part of Fox Restaurant Concepts, is hiring a Line Cook to join our high-energy kitchen. You’ll prepare food from scratch, cook a variety of items, and uphold food safety standards.

The role requires 1+ year of high-volume restaurant experience, strong communication, stamina to stand long hours, and weekend availability. Competitive hourly pay and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience.
• Excellent communication; able to stand long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Cook from scratch by following recipes to ensure consistency.
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables using kitchen equipment.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards; work clean.
• Available to work weekends and some holidays.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food from scratch by following recipes to produce consistent results.
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards. Work clean.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment.
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.
