Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated's Culinary Dropout in Salt Lake City is hiring a Line Cook for our new restaurant opening team this Summer. Join a fast-paced, high-energy environment and help deliver consistent dishes.

Must have 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience and strong communication. You’ll prepare from scratch, cook a variety of items, and follow food safety standards—while weekends and some holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience.
• Excellent communication skills; able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Eye for detail; comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food from scratch by following our recipes to produce consistent results.
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items using kitchen equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards; work clean.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment; availability to work weekends and some holidays.

• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards. Work clean.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
