Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking a Tree Trimmer in Minnesota to prune and remove trees, limbs and shrubs near power lines. You will use climbing gear and ground tools to manage vegetation while keeping safety at the forefront of every operation.

Applicants should have at least 3 months in tree trimming, basic First-Aid/CPR, and HS diploma or equivalent. The role may require overtime, travel, and physical endurance in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of experience in tree trimming or clearing crews.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• First-Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Loads vehicles and equipment with manageable size limbs and logs.
• Trims, removes and/or fells trees using climbing equipment and ground tools.
• Works aloft to cut branches or trunk sections and lowers them with rigging lines.
• Fells trees or trunks with appropriate ground tools and equipment.
• Adheres to safety rules around energized power lines and trains others on safety.
