Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking a Tree Trimmer to prune and clear trees and limbs near power lines, ensuring safety and health of vegetation. The role uses climbing equipment, lifts, and hand tools to prune, remove, or fell trees both aloft and on the ground.

Applicants should have basic tree knowledge, OSHA awareness, and the ability to work long hours in outdoor conditions. A high school diploma or equivalent and First-Aid/CPR certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of trees, growth habits and arboricultural techniques near energized conductors.
• Familiar with ANSI Z133.1 and ANSI A300 standards.
• Ability to read and follow safety instructions and job instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load, trim, remove, or fell trees and limbs using climbing equipment and hand tools.
• Work aloft with climbing gear and rigging to lower branches to ground.
• Maintain safety around hazardous equipment and near power lines.
• Perform routine vehicle/equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Follow company safety policies and report hazards to supervision.
