Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking a Tree Trimmer in the United States for manual and elevated tree work near power lines. The role involves pruning and removing trees, using climbing gear and ground tools, and performing routine equipment maintenance.

The position requires knowledge of ANSI standards, OSHA safety practices, and the ability to work long hours and respond to emergencies. CPR/First-Aid are required or obtainable within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months experience working on tree trimming or clearing crews or completed skills assessments.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid First-Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and DOT medical card (FMCSA).

Responsibilities

• Loads vehicles and equipment with manageable size limbs and logs.
• Trims, removes and/or fells trees using climbing equipment and ground tools.
• Works aloft to cut branches or trunk sections and lowers them with rigging lines.
• Operates and maintains vehicles and equipment; performs routine maintenance and reports needs.
• Adheres to safety policies and OSHA regulations; educates others on safe work methods.
