Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking a Tree Trimmer to prune and remove trees and shrubs away from power lines, using climbing equipment and ground tools. The role emphasizes safety, proper technique and adherence to company policies.

Ideal candidates have experience with line clearance, plant health, and the ability to work long hours including overtime during emergencies. Weekly pay and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience trimming, pruning and removing trees near power lines.
• Ability to operate climbing equipment, lift trucks and rigging lines.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety rules and ANSI standards.
• Understanding of electrical hazards near distribution lines.

Responsibilities

• Loads vehicles and equipment with limbs and logs.
• Trims, removes and felled trees using climbing gear and tools.
• Works aloft to cut branches with rigging and lowers them safely.
• Performs ground work with saws, pruners and trimming tools.
• Maintains safety and communicates with team and supervisors.
