Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of trees, including identification, growth habits and arboricultural techniques specific to trimming, pruning, repairing, maintaining and removing, in close proximity to energized conductors.
• Knowledge of ANSI standards for tree care operations and proper pruning.
• Ability to follow safety requirements and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Loads vehicles and equipment with limbs and logs.
• Trims, removes and/or fells trees using climbing equipment and safety gear.
• Works aloft to cut branches and lowers them safely to ground.
• Performs routine vehicle and equipment inspections and maintenance.
