Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking a Tree Trimmer to prune and remove trees, limbs, and shrubs around power lines. The role uses climbing gear, safety procedures, and ground tools to maintain tree health and appearance while minimizing vegetation interference.

The position requires knowledge of ANSI safety standards, electrical hazard awareness, and the ability to work both independently and with teams. OTA: OSHA compliance, and potential travel during emergencies may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of trees, including identification and arboricultural techniques near energized conductors.
• Knowledge of ANSI Z133.1 and ANSI A300 standards.
• Ability to coach employees on safety requirements.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits and reading circuit maps.
• OSHA electric power standards and proper tool usage near live parts.
• Able to learn quickly and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Loads vehicles and equipment with branches and logs.
