goop kitchen is hiring for our Commissary location in Red Hook (Brooklyn). As a Line Chef, you’ll bring scratch-made recipes to life on the hot line, crafting beautifully plated entrees with consistency and flavor that mirrors our clean, intentional approach to food and hospitality.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, master station techniques, and contribute to a dynamic, growing brand that values quality ingredients and genuine hospitality.

Qualifications

• Solid knife skills and cooking techniques.
• Food handler certification.
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Health-forward or scratch-kitchen concepts a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cook across the hot line (broilers, ovens, sauté, grill) and build entrees with great presentation.
• Master recipes and techniques for every kitchen station (hot and cold).
• Manage prep timing and par levels to stay ahead of the rush and ensure consistency.
• Multi-task across cold prep, hot line, and cleaning during peak hours.
• Support cleanliness and safety standards on the line.
