CJ Schwan's is seeking a Production/Sanitation team member for the 3rd shift. Starting pay is $18.75 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential. This full-time role combines 80% production with 20% sanitation in a food manufacturing environment.

You will unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble product, and package finished goods, while maintaining quality, sanitation, and safety standards. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, 401k match, PTO, holidays, and discount programs.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand on concrete floors.
• Rotating schedules including weekends and overtime.

Responsabilidades

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble product, and package finished goods.
• Ensure products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products and document waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality or equipment issues.
• Clean floors, fixtures, and walls using standard supplies.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment as directed.
• Follow sanitation schedules and document cleaning activities.
• Use chemicals at stated concentrations and document usage.
• Verify that cleaning and sanitizing meets required standards.

What You Will Do:

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble product, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products (from raw materials to finished product) meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throwing out or fixing products as necessary; writing down amount of waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns
• This position is responsible for cleaning the floors, fixtures, and walls using standard cleaning supplies as needed to maintain a neat appearance.
• Disassembling and reassembling equipment as directed
• Following sanitation schedules to conduct and document routine cleaning of the facility and production line
• Using and documenting chemical use to stated concentrations and for appropriate applications
• Verifying and documenting that correct chemicals and concentrations are used and that cleaning and sanitizing is complete to deliver equipment and infrastructure that is clean and passes all micro indicator test
• Perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety regulations)

What We Look For:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity; capable of performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.
