Job summary

Schwan's Company is seeking a full-time production associate for the third shift to unpack ingredients, mix and assemble products, and package finished goods in a food-manufacturing environment. You will ensure all products meet company and government quality standards and document waste as directed.

Responsibilities include inspecting products, reporting issues, and adhering to GMPs, safety rules, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0 to 1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong manual dexterity; capable of repetitive motions.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; discard or fix as directed; record waste amounts.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Comply with USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, GMPs and safety policies.

Starting Pay: $19.50 per hour
Shift: 3rd
Hours: 8:15PM - 5:15AM

What You Will Do:

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products (from raw materials to finished products) meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throwing out or fixing products as necessary; writing down amount of waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety regulations).

What We Look For:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity; capable of performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.
