Job summary

CJ Schwan's in the United States is seeking a dedicated worker for a food manufacturing role. You will unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure products meet quality standards, inspect for issues, and document waste. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing on concrete, and adherence to GMPs and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products and manage waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues or equipment problems.
• Follow USDA, OSHA, GMPs and safety regulations.

Starting Pay: $17.25 per hour

Additional $1.50 shift differential from 6pm-6am

Hours: 3am-3:30pm

What You Will Do

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.


• Ensure that all products (from raw materials to finished products) meet company and government quality standards.


• Inspect products; throwing out or fixing products as necessary; writing down amount of waste as directed.


• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.


• Perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety regulations).

What We Look For

• High school diploma or GED preferred.


• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.


• Strong manual dexterity; capable of performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.


• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.
