Job summary

Schwan's Company in California is seeking a dedicated full-time team member for a 2nd shift role in a food manufacturing environment. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods, ensuring all output meets quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will inspect products, document waste, and report issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity; capable of repetitive motions.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throw out or fix products as directed and record waste.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Comply with USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations (GMPs and safety).

What You Will Do:

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products (from raw materials to finished products) meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throwing out or fixing products as necessary; writing down amount of waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety regulations).
