Job summary

Siemens Healthineers seeks an on-site customer support engineer to install, diagnose, service and repair complex imaging and accelerator equipment. You will train customers on operation and maintenance and coordinate spare parts and service requests to ensure proper functioning.

You will also act as a liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters, documenting installation data and providing reports to assist project teams. Location requires proximity to airport access and travel

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years related experience; degree preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical engineering, RF energy devices, and electronic cooling systems.
• Proficient with test equipment for verification and calibration of electronic equipment.
• Basic networking skills to integrate the machine onto the customer server.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly visible customer support through on-site installation of linear accelerators and imaging systems and oversee diagnostics, service and repair of complex equipment.
• Check out and approve operational quality of system equipment.
• Instruct customers in operation and maintenance of the system.
• Serve as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters; interpret needs and facilitate resolution.
• Support field activities including system hardware/software, PCs, and networking/wireless installs and upgrades.
• Demonstrate equipment operation and specifications according to CAP.
• Advise customers on spare parts orders or service requests to ensure operation of VMS equipment.
• Input detailed installation and upgrade records; provide timely reports as needed.
