Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a field service professional to install and service linear accelerators and imaging systems on-site at customer sites in the United States. You will diagnose issues, perform calibrations, and train customers on operation and maintenance of complex equipment.

The role requires knowledge of RF energy devices, electronic cooling, and PC-based systems, with strong English communication and a customer-first mindset. Travel and a company vehicle are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 2–4 years related experience or an Associates/Bachelor’s preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical engineering, RF energy devices and electronic cooling systems.
• Proficient with test equipment used for verification and calibration of electronic equipment.
• Basic networking to integrate the machine onto the customer server.
• PC-based systems knowledge; customer-focused attitude and strong interpersonal communication.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site installation of linear accelerators and imaging systems; diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair equipment.
• Check operational quality of system equipment and instruct customers in operation and maintenance.
• Serve as liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
• Support a wide range of products per documentation to ensure proper operation.
• Record installation and upgrade work in company systems for accurate data.
• Maintain professionalism and safety per VMS guidelines and customer regulations.
• Manage parts inventory and ordering for installations; replenish and return parts as needed.
• Document operating characteristics and performance to improve installation efficiency.
