Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a field service professional to install and service imaging and accelerator equipment. You will diagnose and repair complex systems, train customers on operation and maintenance, and ensure safety and quality standards are met on-site.

The role requires familiarity with RF energy devices, electronic cooling systems, and PC-based networks, with travel and a company vehicle provided for occasions requiring field support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 2-4 years related experience or degree preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical engineering, RF energy devices, and electronic cooling systems.
• Proficient with test equipment used for verification and calibration of electronic equipment.
• Basic networking skills to integrate the machine onto the customer server.
• Knowledge of PC-based systems and engineering concepts.
• Customer-focused attitude and strong interpersonal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly visible customer support through on-site installation of linear accelerators and imaging systems and oversee diagnoses, troubleshooting, service and repair.
• Check out and approve operational quality of system equipment.
• Instruct customers in operation and maintenance of the system.
• Serve as liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects and facilitate resolution.
• Include field support across hardware/software, PCs, and networking installs/upgrades per guidelines.
• Demonstrate equipment operation and specifications according to Customer Acceptance Procedure.
• Advise customers on spare parts or service requests to ensure operation according to safety guidelines.
• Maintain documentation and input installation data into company systems for accuracy.
• Travel as required; company vehicle provided.
